MCX SORBENT

MCX is a hybrid strong cation exchange solid phase extraction column based on monodisperse polymer microspheres. MCX SPE cartridge is designed to overcome the limitations of traditional silica-based mixed solid phase extraction adsorbents. Polymeric MCX sorbent has a larger surface area compared with other sorbents, so it has a high ion exchange capacity that can keep alkaline material effectively, at this time the acid resistance is strong, so it has a stable pH range of about 0-14.

MCX cartridge provides dual retention modes: ion exchange and reverses phase, and the retention occurs in a clean, stable, high surface area, on stable organic copolymers in the pH 0-14 range. Polymeric MCX SPE cartridges are often used for the detection of melamine in milk and food and feed.
